Title

Manage held data.

Purpose

You can use this report to list and delete the held data that users have created.

Everyone who uses the transaction for goods movements (MIGO) can create this held data with the Hold data pushbutton when they cancel the transaction without exiting the activity or operation they are currently processing.

We recommend that you start this report at regular intervals so that you can delete held data that is no longer required.

Note
You can delete your held data yourself in the MIGO transaction, by choosing Goods receipt -> Held data.

Prerequisites

Authorization check

To delete held data, you need authorization to delete it in at least one plant (authorization object Material Documents: Plant, activity 69).

Features

You can limit the data by how old it is in days, the period of time in which it was created, and by user name.

You can also delete all held data immediately without an output list. Note that by doing this, the held data you defined as a reference will also be deleted (see Notes for held data).

If you want to automatically delete the held data on a regular basis, you can create a variant for the report by setting the Delete immediately indicator and starting the variant with a job.

Selection

Output

The output list shows the selected data records. The references are marked with an underscore (_) at the end of the note. To delete the data, select it and choose List -> Delete selected entries.
