NK_CHECK_INTERVALS - Object: Consistency Check and Repair of Intervals

Purpose

Group and Interval Checks

General Check

Input

Number range object: Single object or multiple objects

The following checks are made:

Group text table:

1. Do the intervals assigned to the group text (table TNRGT) exist in NRIV?

2. Is the interval that is assigned to the field TNRGT-NUMBER1 internal?

3. Is the interval that is assigned to the field TNRGT-NUMBER2 external?

Interval table:

Is there a group in TNRGT for each interval in the NRIV? (Multiple assignments are possible, but should be avoided)

Element table

1. Do the intervals assigned to the elements exist in NRIV?

2. Does a matching entry in the group table exist for the interval combination NUMBER1 and NUMBER2?

Cleaning up inconsistencies:

Make Intervals Consistent (F7):

·,,Error in the group text table: the entry in TNRGT is deleted or updated (if an interval is assigned correctly)

·,,Error in the element table: the group assignment for the element is deleted

·,,Error in the interval table: the interval is deleted from NRIV (even if the number level is not initial)

Or manual correction (directly from the result list):

If the assignment for a group is missing, a group text for the interval can be generated using a manual correction. The text can be changed when editing the group in transaction SNUM.

Results table

The inconsistencies are displayed when an object is checked.

If multiple objects are check, a list of objects with errors is displayed. The checks of the individual objects can be displayed from this list.

Clean Up Orphan Intervals

The option Delete intervals without object can be used to delete intervals in which no objects exist. The option Display intervals without object can be used to display any intervals without objects.
