OAA_GENERATE_ATP_SNAPSHOT - Generation and Replication of ATP Snapshot

Purpose
You use report OAA_GENERATE_ATP_SNAPSHOT to generate and replicate availability information for distribution center (DC) articles. To generate availability information, the system triggers the parallelized ATP run for all DC articles.
Business parameters: Distribution centers are modeled as sites in SAP S/4HANA. The entirety of the articles sold from a distribution center in a specific online store are modeled as the assortment assigned to a specific site in SAP S/4HANA.
Technical parameters:
- ATP parallelization profiles as well as replication modes are defined in Customizing of SAP S/4HANA, under Define ATP Parallelization Profiles and Define Replication Modes.
- The consumer ID is a freely definable ID for the ATP snapshot generation run. If you do not enter a consumer ID, the system uses a default value.
To improve performance, we recommend to schedule two different jobs for this report:
- One job for the full run, to be executed for example once a day
- One job for the delta run (select Delta Modefield), to be executed for example every hour
- In delta mode, the report checks for new DC articles and DC articles with ATP-relevant changes, for example changes caused by sales orders, purchase requisitions, returns, or goods movements, and triggers generation of the ATP snapshot for those articles only.
