Purpose

In the standard delivery, you use this report to replicate the sites representing your brick-and-mortar stores and distribution centers, from the ERP back end to SAP Commerce via the Data Hub. These stores and distribution centers can then be used in SAP Commerce for availability calculation and sourcing.

With replication of sites, the following parameters are needed:

  • IDoc type: W_OAA_SITES
  • Message type: W_OAA_SITES
  • Data segment E1W_OAA_SITES

The data segment does not contain all site data that is available in the ERP back end but the organizational data and address data only.

Features

Selection

  • The receiver is the Data Hub system, the sender is the ERP system.
  • To select the sites to replicate, you can filter by organizational data and address data.
  • In field Base Store, you enter the name of the base store in the Backoffice application of SAP Commerce to which the sites are to be assigned.
  • In field Shipping Condition, you enter the shipping condition for articles to be collected (click-and-collect scenario), as defined in Customizing.

Standard Variants

Output

The sites (distribution centers or stores) are replicated to SAP Commerce. You can track them in the Backoffice application of SAP Commerce, under Base Commerce -> Point of service. Distribution centers are automatically stored as points of service of type WAREHOUSE, stores are automatically stored as points of service of type STORE.

The sites are automatically assigned to the base store entered in the report. You can track the assignment in the Backoffice application of SAP Commerce, under Base Commerce -> Point of service -> Location, in field Base store.

The system uses the shipping condition for the click-and-collect scenario entered in the report to determine the corresponding shipping point for the site, and replicates the shipping point along with the site. You can track the site's shipping point in the Backoffice application of SAP Commerce, under Base Commerce -> Point of Service -> Administration -> Unbound, in field Shipping Point for Click-and-Collect Scenario.
