PFCG_ORGFIELD_ROLES - Synchronize Roles with Organizational Level Definitions

Purpose

Tool for Comparing Roles with an Organizational Level Field

The tool supports both the use of a new organizational level and the resetting of organizational level data for a deleted organizational level in the roles for which this is relevant.

This report determines all roles for a given authorization field.

If the authorization field is assigned to an organizational level, the roles are checked for consistency with regard to the organizational level values, and are grouped in the column "Status: Org. Level in Role".
A green traffic light indicates the complete implementation of the organizational level; a red traffic light indicates that the role requires postprocessing. You can maintain roles marked red using the function "Convert Org. Level Field in Roles" (Shift + F6).
A yellow traffic light indicates a mixture of organizational level maintenance and manually-maintained authorization values. Use SAP Note 314513 to clean up roles of this type, if necessary.
A gray traffic light indicates that, although the role contains organizational level values for the selected organizational level field, it does not currently contain any suitable authorization data. This is not an error, and these roles require no action.

The second status column, "Status: Org. Level Values in Role" gives information about the content status of the authorization fields. The following apply:

Red traffic light: The role contains an organizational level definition, but no organizational level values.
Green traffic light: The authorization values in the individual authorizations are identical and can be combined without undesired assignment of additional authorizations.
Yellow traffic light: The authorization values of the individual authorizations are different. If these values are combined in an organizational level, this can lead to undesired assignment of additional authorizations. We recommend that you check this separately.
No traffic light signal: no anomalies.

You can collect the roles changed with this report in a transport request. You can switch between an active and an inactive transport connection with the buttons 'Activate Transport Recording' and 'Deactivate Transport Recording'.
