PLM_AUDIT_ARC_AUD_WRITE - Archiving of Audit Management Transaction Data: Write Program

Purpose

Used for archiving audits or audit plans

Integration

This function is part of the archiving of archiving object PLM_AUD in component Audit Management (CA-AUD).

Prerequisites

In order to archive audits or audit plans, the status Archived (I1806) must first have been set for these audits or audit plans via the preprocessing program PLM_AUDIT_ARC_AUD_CHECK.

Features

The audits or audit plans are archived using the write program.

You can use the BAdI Archiving Object PLM_AUD: Add-On for Specific Data (ARC_PLM_AUD_WRITE ) to select and archive additional data for the audit or audit plan.

Selection

Standard Variants

Output

A summarized or a detailed log is created. You can control this using the indicator Detail Log.

Activities

Start the write program using transaction SARA and a corresponding job for the archiving object PLM_AUD.

We recommend that you store a unique comment for each archiving run on the selection screen.

We also recommend that you set up the archiving object PLM_AUD in such a way that the deletion run is started automatically. This avoids audits or audit plans being archived more than once.
