Purpose

Used for archiving question lists

Integration

This function is part of the archiving of archiving object PLM_QUM in the Audit Management (CA-AUD) component.

Prerequisites

In order to archive question lists, the status Archived (I1806) must first have been set for these question lists using the preprocessing program PLM_AUDIT_ARC_QUM_CHECK.

Features

The question lists and the associated questions are archived using the write program.

You can use the BAdI Archiving Object PLM_QUM: Add-On for Specific Data (ARC_PLM_QUM_WRITE ) to select and archive additional data for the question list.

The write program is ILM-enabled, but the snapshot option is not supported.

Selection

Standard Variants

Output

A summarized or a detailed log is created. You can control this using the Detail Log indicator.

Activities

Start the write program using transaction SARA and a corresponding job for the archiving object PLM_QUM.

We recommend that you store a unique comment for each archiving run on the selection screen.

We also recommend that you set up the archiving object PLM_QUM in such a way that the deletion run is started automatically. This avoids question lists being archived more than once.
