POWL_WLOAD - Refresh of active POWL queries

Purpose

This report is used to schedule a mass refresh of POWL queries.
The report is designed for system administrators who want to schedule a refresh of all queries for a specific set of users over the weekend. When the users log on the following Monday, they see the latest objects on the user interface, without having to perform a live refresh.

Features

Selection

You can specify a selection for the following:

• Query ID

• POWL Type

• Application ID

• User

• Logon/ Server Group
  Server group name that is defined. This is absolutely critical for improving the performance of the refresh.

• Discard Old Cached Results
  The older cache results are updated once a refresh is complete. If you set this option, the cache is initially deleted. When the refresh is complete, the cache is updated with the new results.

• Queries per Job
  Number of queries that are refreshed together in a single task.

• Max Number of Parallel Jobs
  To optimize system resources, you can specify the maximum number of jobs that can run at the same time.

Standard Variants

Output

This report executes a mass refresh based on the input selections, and updates the cache with the refresh results.
