Purpose

Conversion to SAP S/4HANA is accompanied by the use of the long material number used in the SAP Discrete Industries and Mill Products (DIMP) solution instead of the standard SAP ERP material number. This means that the internal material number, which is stored in the material number fields (data element MATNR), can directly be replaced by the external material number, which used to be stored in the mapping table MATERIALID. Therefore the access of the mapping table is not necessary anymore.

You use this XPRA to replace the material numbers stored in OBJID field in the PPEOBJ table with the values available in the MATNR_LONGfield available in the MATERIALID table;

The OBJID field is a multipurpose field and stores the material number only if the corresponding OBJTYPE field contains the value CMP

Integration

Prerequisites

• The DIMP long material number is active in the system being converted.

• You have run the XPRA MFLE_XPRA_DETERMINE_DIMP_LAMA, which fills the column MATNR_LONGof the table MATERIALID.
