PPH_MRP_PERF - MRP Live Performance Log

Purpose

This report provides you with performance information for your MRP Live runs. For example, you can see how many materials were planned altogether, how many were planned in MRP Live on HANA and how many were planned in classic MRP including information on how long the planning run took.

In the details screen, the system lists detailed performance information per low-level code.

Integration

You enter the name under which the system is to save the performance log in the initial screen of the MRP Live run, in the field entitled, Name for Performance Log.

In the initial screen of the report, you have several options to search for the performance results:

• You can enter the name you entered in the Name for Perform. Log field in the MRP Live run to find the performance information.

In this case, the system displays all MRP Live runs performed for this performance log name. If you carried out a planning run and did not enter this name, the performance information of this planning run is not displayed in the report.

• You can enter a user name which instructs the system to display all the planning runs that were carried out by this user irrespective of whether a performance log name was specified or not.

• You can enter an MRP Start Date which limits the results list to a particular date. Or you can also enter a period in which you want to see the MRP Live results.

In this case, if you leave the other two fields blank, the system displays all MRP live runs that were carried out for this date or period by all users. If you also specify a particular user name, for example, the system then limits the results list to the planning runs carried out by this user for the specified date or period.

Output

In the first screen of the report, the system lists all the individual MRP Live runs that have been carried out according to your selection criteria. In this list, you can find aggregated information including the total number of materials planned, the total number of materials for which the planning run failed, the total number of materials planned in MRP Live on HANA, and the total number of materials planned in classic MRP, for example.

To access more detailed performance information for each low-level code planned, double-click the appropriate row. Or select the appropriate row and choose the Details button. The system displays the screen entitled MRP Live Performance Log per Low-Level Code.Here, the system lists the results of the planning run for each low-level code and displays a large number of detailed key performance indicators.
