PPH_MRP_SET_CACHE - Cache for MRP Apps

Purpose
You use this report to define the cache settings for the apps for Material Requirements Planning.
Integration
You should run this report daily to recalculate the cache entries. In so doing, you can reduce the amount of cache entries to be recalculated on the fly by the MRP apps.
Prerequisites
Features
Selection
You have four options for executing the program which you define in the section of the screen entitled Function. You can choose between the following settings:
- Delete Selected Entries
- The system deletes the cache for the materials you selected in the Selection part of the screen.
- Delete All Shortage Profile Entries
- The system deletes the cache for the materials with the selected shortage profile.
- Refresh Outdated Entries
- For the materials you selected in the Selection part of the screen, the system checks whether a cached entry has changed, recalculates the entry, and caches the result.
- Refresh All Selected Entries
- For all the materials you selected in the Selection part of the screen, the system recalculates the entries and caches the result.
- Cache Information
- For the materials you selected in the Selection part of the screen, the system displays the key data of the cached entries.
For all these options, you can execute the report in simulation mode by selecting the Run in Simulation Modecheckbox in the section of the screen entitled Execution Mode.
Standard Variants
Output
Depending on the function you use to execute the report, the system displays the following results:
- Delete Selected Entries: Displays the deleted entries
- Deleted All Shortage Profile Entries: Displays the deleted entries for the shortage profile
- Refresh Outdated Entries: Displays the refreshed entries
- Refresh All Entries: Displays the refreshed entries
- Cache Information: Displays key data of cached entries
