PYC_GEN_FP3_UNASSIGNED_WL - Create Worklists for Payroll Administrators

Purpose

In previous feature packs, payroll admin can only access errors that are assigned to them by the payroll process manager. In Feature Pack 4, each payroll admin can see an extra list, which contains errors that have not been assigned to anyone yet; and the payroll admin can assign the unassigned errors to himself or herself.

After you upgrade your system from Feature Pack 3 to Feature Pack 4, this report modifies the old data to make sure that the ongoing processes in Feature Pack 3 can provide the unassigned error list to each payroll admin.

You need to execute this report only once, after you upgrade your system from Feature Pack 3 to Feature Pack 4, if all of the following conditions are met:

• Before the upgrade, you had unconfirmed processes that contain a monitoring step (whose step template category is Monitoring).

• The execution status for the monitoring step was In Execution before the upgrade.

Integration

Prerequisites

• Your system has been upgraded to HR Renewal 2.0, Feature Pack 4.

• You have the relevant authorization (at least the W-Access Worklist authorization) for the process instances in the authorization object P_PYD_INST.

You can only generate worklists for process instances for which you have been granted authorizaiton in this authorization object.

Note that the system will not give a warning or error message if you do not have the authorization for some process instances when you run this report.

Features

The report finds the ongoing processes whose current step is the monitoring step and the monitoring step is In Execution. Then the report generates the list of unassigned errors of these processes for each payroll administrator.
