Purpose

A route cannot have more than one settlement status. With this report, you can analyze and adjust settlement statuses. The report analyzes parts of the route data and recommends one or more settlement statuses that correspond to the current state of the route.

You adjusted or extended the route settlement process with custom development. The adjustments of the route settlement process now allow the setting of more than one settlement status for a route. This affects the Settle Route Data app, where routes are displayed multiple times in separate rows for each status and where the navigation to the details page fails. Therefore, such routes cannot be settled.

The report does not recommend any possible statuses if at least one of the following criteria applies:

  • The route data that has been analyzed is inconsistent.
  • The route is currently locked.
  • The route is still being processed by the process framework or the route is processed during the next supervisor report run.

Integration

Prerequisites

  • You need the following authorizations of the authorization object LMD_RT to use the report:
  • Change Status (A3)

  • Administer (70)

  • You are working in a test system.
Caution: Do not use the report in a productive system. The fact that a route has multiple settlement statuses might be the result of a programming error that must be found and corrected. Replacing erroneous settlement statuses with a new settlement status does not repair the problem that is causing the error. As a user, you are responsible for any status changes and updates of the related route data (settlement status, status history, or route last changed timestamp).

Features

With this report, you can run an analysis of routes with multiple settlement statuses. You can then select a settlement status recommended by the report or another possible status.

The report supports the following features:

  • You can select a route ID either by manually entering the route ID or by selecting a route from the route list. This list displays routes with multiple settlement statuses based on your search criteria.
  • Upon execution of the report, the route is analyzed and statuses are recommended.
  • If intermediate settlement is enabled, the artificial status value is provided. This value represents a route with no settlement status.
  • After you have chosen a new settlement status and saved your changes, the report removes all current settlement statuses and sets the new settlement status you selected as the sole new settlement status of the route. As a result, in the Settle Route Data app, the route is now displayed only once.
  • You can use the report in a test system to support root-cause analysis for multiple settlement statuses or set the settlement status for routes that are used for testing purposes.

Activities

In the Analysis Result section, the report provides more information related to the following two analyses:

  • Status History Analysis: The report analyzes the status history of the route and displays the time and date when the settlement statuses were set. Additionally, the report evaluates whether the expected settlement statuses from the status history correspond to the current statuses of the route.
  • Analysis and Recommendation: The report analyzes route data, for example, related process framework processes. As a result of this analysis, the report displays all possible and recommended statuses. If the route cannot be analyzed, you can find further information about the possible causes for this problem in this section as well.
