RC1XPRVPNUMDEC - EHS: Filling Fields ESTVP_COMPAVGDEC, -LOWDEC, -UPPDEC (2.5->2.7)

Title

Conversion Program (XPRA) to Fill the Fields ESTVP-COMPAVGDEC, ESTVP-COMPLOWDEC, and ESTVP-COMPUPPDEC.

Purpose

This means the system can distinguish between the entry '0' and no entry ' ', which is normally not possible for numeric fields in the SAP System, as the initial value is 0.

In order to save the number of decimal places entered as information, a field was inserted in the component table (ESTVP) for each of the three fields for concentration values.

As the system previously always filled four decimal places, the value 4 is passed unless the concentration value is missing (value -1). The fields in the table ESTVP are then filled as follows:

• COMPAVGDEC: '-1' if COMPAVG is initial (blank)

• COMPLOWDEC: '-1' if COMPLOW and COMPUPP are initial

• COMPUPPDEC: '-1' if COMPUPP is initial
