RCMM_LOAD_GMDAFX - Load FX Curves for End-of-Day Reporting

Purpose
This report calculates forex curves that enable you to perform currency conversions in reports for physical documents, such as sales orders and purchase orders, for Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE) pricing conditions.
Integration
You can integrate this report into the Financial Closing Cockpit. For more information, see the Customizing (transaction SPRO) Cross-Application Components -> Financial Closing Cockpit Add-On -> Template Maintenance -> Define Templates and Task Groups.
Prerequisites
Features
You use this report to load the forex (FX) curves that are required for end-of-day reporting. In addition to calculating new curve values, you can display existing values and delete values that are no longer required for reporting purposes.
To access the message log later, you can choose the option to Save Message Log. This is especially useful when you run the report in the background.
Selection
If you choose the Maturity Dates from Snapshotoption, the program automatically detects and calculates the required forex curves based on a certain maturity date.
You can also manually restrict which forex curves are loaded by selecting the Specific Maturity Dates option. In this case, you provide the From Currencies, To Currencies, maturity dates, and exchange rate types to load specific FX curves.
Standard Variants
Output
When you are generating forex curves, the values are displayed.
When you are displaying forex curves, the selected values are displayed.
When you are deleting forex curves, the values that you have deleted are displayed.
When the test run check box is selected, the system does not save the values in table GMDA.
To access the report's application log, in Analyze Application Log(transaction SLG1) enter the following information:

Activities
To load forex curves, you can either run the report manually in the dialog or in the background.
To run the job in the background, you schedule the report to run daily before you start your end-of-day processes.
To delete forex curve values, use the manual select option only.
To perform a test run, select the check box.
