RCPBTCO1 - Generate Dataset for Routings

Description

You use this report to generate a dataset in order to transfer routing data from one ERP system to another ERP system. Then you use the dataset for batch input in the other ERP system.

This report enhances report RCPTRA01, which you use to generate batch input sessions from datasets.

Enter the following values in the fields on the initial screen:

• Output file

Enter the path and file name for the dataset. This is a required entry for report RCPTRA01.

• Batch input session name

Enter the name for the batch input session that is generated in report RCPTRA01. This is a required entry for report RCPTRA01.

• New group number by internal number assignment in the import system

Use this indicator to specify that the task list groups in the target system do not have the same group numbers as in the export system but rather new internal group numbers.

• Enter the assignments or allocations in the routings that are to be taken into account when the dataset is generated:

• material allocations

• production resources/tools

• long texts

• Generating batch input sessions automatically (RCPTRA01)

Use this indicator to specify that report RCPTRA01 to generate batch input sessions is automatically called after report RCPBTC01 is run. The report is run in the export system. After the report is run, transfer the generated batch input session to the target system.

If you require additional information about the other fields, press F1.

Output

The report generates a dataset that you need as a basis for generating batch input sessions in the target system.
