RDM_OPT_FILL_HEADER_ATTRIBUTES - Provide Demand Management Attributes to Promotion Header Data

Purpose
This program fills the promotion header attributes media type and customer type according to the current settings in the promotion type.
Integration
Prerequisites
The attributes media type and customer type are processed via the Extended Maintenance of Promotion Type in promotion type Customizing.
Features
Selection
The program allows a selection of the promotions to be processed by promotion number, sales period, and promotion start.
The program also provides the following checkboxes:
- Carry out a test run
- There is no update to the database.
- Process promotions with filled attributes
- As standard, promotions where the media type and/or customer type are already filled, are not processed. If this indicator is set, however, existing values for these attributes are overwritten.
- Display application log after program run
- This log contains further information on the program run.
Standard Variants
Output
After the program run, a list is output that contains all promotions to be processed. This list contains the following fields:
- Status: Specifies if the promtion has been changed.
- Name
By way of the pushbutton Change Layout... you can display further promotion header data.
Activities
Using the BAdI RDM_OPT_FILL_HEADER_ATTRIBUTES in the enhancement area RDM_OPT_PROMO_CST, customers can set the attributes media type and customer type according to their own logic.
