Purpose
Extract data from SAP Services (SAP EarlyWatch Alert) and transaction SMSY in order to fill transparent tables

BI data collection
Selection
Use the first field in the section screen to specify a Solution. This field is filled automatically if you start the report from the SAP Solution Manager. Specify the SAP R/3 systems for which the report should collect data by in the first selection group. Specify the time period for data extraction in the second selection group. The report will only use the newest service available in the time period you specify. Use the third selection group to specify several groups of data:

System Data Detail
Server Data
Performance Data
Module Data
Database Data
Customer Data (only relevant when BI customer development is present)
The system automatically uses the standard 'DEFAULT' parameter set. You can click 'Maintain Parameter Set' in order to change the default settings and save a new parameter set.
When you maintain a parameter set, enter the administrative details at top of the screen. The system also displays information about the solution, source of data und the selection. The information about the number of table entries is additionally available for each transfer table.
Start the extraction process by clicking 'Fill Transfer Table' in the toolbar. We recommend that you select the checkboxes 'Delete Existing Data in BI Transfer Table' and 'Show Document with Transfer Table Content'. The first one will ensure that only new data are used in the BI data transfer. The second displays a log of the BI transfer process after the data collection has taken place.

Output
The system displays the progress of the BI data extraction in the field 'Transfer table' or, if the checkbox 'Show Document with Transfer Table Content' is selected, in a table. If you schedule the data collection for BI extraction as a background process, the system uploads the document automatically to the SAP Solution Manager.
