Purpose

The RREAARCH_REL_EXCEPT report reloads time-of-use (TOU) exceptions that have been archived and already deleted, and undoes all changes made to the database by the deletion program. You can only use the reload program to reload complete archiving runs. It is not possible to reload individual TOU exceptions. This procedure should not normally be used and should be limited to severe problem cases (such as an incorrect retention period in Customizing).

Integration

  • First step: Analysis of TOU exceptions with regard to potential archiving using the report REAARCH_ANALYSE_EXCEPT.

  • Third step: Delete TOU exceptions from the database on the basis of the archive previously created using the report REAARCH_DEL_EXCEPT.

  • Use this report to reload data that has been archived and already deleted. Note that you cannot reload individual TOU exceptions, but must always reload the entire archiving run. This procedure should not normally be used and should be limited to extreme problem cases (for example, incorrect retention period in Customizing).

  • You can use the report REAARCH_READ_ARCHIVE_EXCEPT to read TOU exceptions from the archive before the deletion program has been run, and display them in a list. It displays the data in a technical view.
