REE_DATEX_TASKS_REEXECUTE - Resend Data Exchange Tasks

Purpose

You can use this function to resend data exchange tasks with the status 'ERROR', without having to use the dialog for the EDATEXMON01 transaction (monitoring of data exchange tasks).

The system executes the following steps automatically:

1. Copy old data exchange task
2. Indicate old data exchange task as 'Corrected'
3. Execute new data exchange task

Integration

This function uses the display function from the EDATEXMON01 transaction.

Prerequisites

The system only takes into account data exchange tasks whose data exchange process is indicated as Executable Directly in Customizing.

Features

Selection

The following selection fields are available:

1. Data exchange process (required entry field)
2. External service provider
3. Reference period or due date period
4. Test mode

Standard Variants

The program is executed in test mode as default. This means that all the data exchange tasks in question are first selected and displayed in the EDATEXMON01 transaction. No changes are made in the database.

If you execute the program in production mode, you receive an error log once the processing has finished. When you leave the log, all data exchange tasks now containing errors are displayed in the EDATEXMON01 transaction.
