Purpose

You use this report to list the time-in-service periods for devices of a given lot. You can use this data to check whether a lot meets the statutory requirements for recertification.

You can use the report to list time-in-service periods as follows:

  • Time-in-service periods for all devices in the lot
  • Time-in-service periods for devices that do not meet the threshold value for recertification. For more information, see Non-Conforming Devices Only.

The report retrieves historical data from the database table for storing historical records of IS-U devices (EGERH), and adds up the time periods for which the device was in service. The report determines the start date of the first time-in-service period and the end date of the last time-in-service periods as follows:

  • Retrieves the first start date of the time in service period from the historical data and compares it to the start date of the evaluation period. The system calculates the time-in-use period using the date that is later.
  • Retrieves the last end date of the time in service period from the historical data and compares it to the end date of the evaluation period. The system calculates the time-in-use period using the date that is earlier.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have activated the Canada specific functions of the sampling procedure by defining the Pseudo-Chaotic Algorithm for random number generation in the TE025D Customizing table.

Features

Selection

Except for the value of the sampling lot and the Non-Conforming Devices Only checkbox, the system proposes the selection parameter values according to the logic in the CL_SELECT_LOT_VALUES BAdI. The BAdI is shipped with a default implementation, which you can replace with your own implementation. For more information, see the CL_EX_SELECT_LOT_VALUES BAdI implementation.

Output

The system displays the devices and the number of months for which they were in service in the evaluation period. According to the setting that you make in the Non-Conforming Devices Only checkbox, you can display devices as follows:

  • All devices that have been in service in the specified evaluation period
  • Devices for which the time-in-service periods in the evaluation period does not meet the threshold value. For more information, see Time in Service Threshold.
