REHSH_C_PERSON_ID_CONDENSE - EHS: Condense PERSON_ID in T7EHS00_MAPPERNR and Dependents

Purpose

The Occupational Health (EHS-HEA) component works with internal personnel numbers, meaning that each person ID processed is converted to an internal personnel number (INTPERNR). The conversion is stored in the table T7EHS00_MAPPERNR (Conversion Table: BP Number/HR Pers.No. to Internal Number). It is possible here that a number of internal personnel numbers can exist for one person ID.

With this report program you can consolidate different internal personnel numbers that refer to the same person ID as one single internal personnel number. All dependent tables are then updated accordingly.

Features

The internal personnel numbers are consolidated across all clients, that is, for all clients of the system on which the report program is run.

If a number of internal personnel numbers exist for one person ID in the table T7EHS00_MAPPERNR, the program retains the lowest internal personnel number. All higher numbers are deleted once any existing table entries were converted to the number that is to be retained.

The report program can be run more than once, for example, if errors occurred.

Selection

You can run the program directly or in test mode.

The test mode does not make any data changes. You can use it to get an overview of the changes that would result if you run the program directly.

Output

A log is created with which you can keep track of the table changes.

Example

For the person ID 0000009133, the table T7EHS00_MAPPERNR contains the internal personnel numbers 00000121 and 00000203.

As "00000121" is the lowest internal personnel number, it stays in the table T7EHS00_MAPPERNR. "00000203" is replaced in the dependent tables by "00000121".

"00000203" is then no longer required and is deleted in the table T7EHS00_MAPPERNR.
