REMDUS_CREATE_REQUEST - Request MDUS Profile Values for Billing Orders

Purpose

You use this report to create an MDUS request.

The MDUS request informs the MDUS system of the periods and the rules to use to aggregate the profile values of the profiles stored in the MDUS system. The MDUS system performs the aggregation and sends the resulting consumption values back to the SAP system.

Integration

You use profiles with values only stored in an external system (MDUS) and you have allocated them to interval registers. The storage location of the original profile values is 2 Profile Values Originate from an External System. If you create billing orders for the corresponding utility installation, they are given the MDUS status 01 Request Must Be Created (see MDUS Status of Billing Order).

To be able to bill these orders, you have to use this report to send a request to the MDUS system.

Prerequisites

To create an MDUS request, you have to simulate billing for the billing order. This is only possible if the utility installation is billable (excluding the missing aggregated consumption values).

Once you have created an MDUS request, you can no longer change the billing-relevant data of the utility installation (rate category, installation structure, installation facts, and so on).

You can only create one MDUS request for a billing order for each utility installation. If two or more billing orders exist for a utility installation, the system only creates an MDUS request for the oldest billing order.

Features

The report uses the enterprise service UtilitiesTimeSeriesCalculationERPBulkCreateRequest_Out to send the request to the MDUS system.

Once the MDUS system has executed the aggregation, it uses the enterprise service UtilitiesTimeSeriesCalculationERPBulkCreateConfirmation_In to send the resulting consumption values back to the SAP system.

Selection

If you select billing orders for which an MDUS request has already been created, the existing MDUS request is reversed using enterprise service UtilitiesTimeSeriesCalculationERPCancellationBulkRequest_Out. The system then generates a new MDUS request.

Standard Variants

Output

As soon as the MDUS system has successfully confirmed the request, you can bill the billing order with the aggregated consumption values.

Any error messages are written to the application log for billing (IU00).
