RFFMAVC_HIER_VIEW - Display Annual Values of Control Objects

Purpose

With this report you can display the hierarchy of availability control objects, such as budget addresses and posting addresses, as well as annual AVC values for specific account assignments.

Integration

Prerequisites

This report is only relevant for the component Budget Control System (BCS).

Features

The report displays the hierarchy of control objects, budget addresses and posting addresses, which is determined by derivation strategies for availability control and the budget structure. For each hierarchy node, the annual values of Consumable Amount, Consumed Amount and the difference between these two values - the Available Amount - for a selected availability control ledger are output.

The following options can be used to adjust the data display:

• Layout Options:Here you determine how the account assignment elements for the control objects are arranged on the screen. The list of control objects is sorted according to the Hierarchy Levelsyou define. For each account assignment element, the text of the hierarchy node can be either the name of the account assignment, or its description (short text). In this section, you can also specify a layout variant, which you must define using the layout button in the output screen. This allows you to display or hide columns as desired.

• Display Options:You can select different options for displaying availability control objects. Please see the field help for more information.

Selection

Specify the FM area, fiscal year and control ledger to restrict the selection of availability control objects.

You can also restrict your selection by specifying a range of account assignment elements. This restriction can contain the availability control objects themselves, or the budget/posting addresses. In the two latter cases, the control objects assigned to the selected budget or posting addresses are automatically derived.

Standard Variants

Output

The output screen contains two sections:

Report header

Besides the FM area, fiscal year and control ledger, the system also displays the account assignment elements for the control objects for which only one value was selected.

Report list

The selected control objects are displayed together with their budget addresses and posting addresses in one structure. For each control object, there is at least one budget address linked to it.

Note
There is no such rule for the number of posting addresses linked to one budget address via the budget structure: you can have no posting address, only one posting address, or a number of different posting addresses linked to a budget address.

The annual values for Consumable Amount (that is, annual totals of releases or of consumable budget according to the configuration of the control ledger), Consumed Amount and Available Amount (= difference between the consumable amount and consumed amount) are displayed in columns for each account assignment, unless a different layout variant has been selected. If the option Hierarchical View of AVC Elements has been selected, then subtotals are also calculated for each value of the account assignment elements of a control object.

Drilldown functionality: double-clicking on a budget address or a posting address displays a list of related documents (budget entry documents or actuals documents). You may then select a document in the list and display it. Click on Back (F3) to return to the initial report. This functionality is also accessible by double-click on any value in the list (except values attached to control objects).

Details of a node: Details of any node in the tree can be accessed simply by selecting the node and clicking the Display button in the toolbar. Note that the Details window is updated dynamically when you repeat the operation for another node, without closing the window.
