RFFMBAS_CONVERT_IDX_TABLE - Convert FM Index Table

Purpose
This report performs a data conversion for the index table FMBASIDX.
Integration
You convert the FMBASIDX table entries if you want to define grant-specific rules to derive budget addresses for posting addresses in the budget structure or grant-specific rules to derive control objects for availability control. If you do not use the account assignment element Grant in your organization or if you do not need grant-specific derivations, you do not need a data conversion.
Prerequisites
- You upgraded your system to EA-PS 802 (or higher).
- You activated the EA-PS Enterprise Extension and you use Funds Management.
- You use the account assignment element Grant in your organization.
Features
The FMBASIDX table entries are converted using the following logic:
- Entries for posting addresses are enhanced with the grant information (field S_GRANT_NBR) from FM update data (table FMIT). The receiver grant (field R_GRANT_NBR) is filled if the grant is active for budgeting.
- Entries for budget addresses are enhanced with the grant information from budget data (table FMBDP) if the grant is active for budgeting.
Selection
You execute the data conversion for all clients or for a specific client.
You test the data conversion to determine the number of data records to be converted and to estimate the time needed for the data conversion.
Standard Variants
Output
The protocol lists all converted system clients. The number of inserted and deleted table entries are noted for each client.
