RFFMBAS_OBJNR_DEL_UNUSED - Detect and Delete Unused Object Numbers (FM)

Purpose

With this report you detect or delete FM object numbers, which are not used any more.

Integration

You use this report after deleting or archiving data, for example after deleting AVC data or account assignments from the Budget Structure.

Prerequisites

You use the Budget Control System (BCS).

Features

You can only delete object numbers, if they are not used by any application. Some object number, which is still needed for some database table entry, cannot be deleted from table FMBASOBJNR.

Selection

Restrict the range of object numbers to be checked.

You may start this report in test mode to only detect unused object numbers. Unused object numbers will only be deleted, if you run the report in productive mode.

This report also offers an option to show all used object numbers in the protocol.

Standard Variants

Output

The protocol shows the number of unused object numbers. If you have selected the option to show the used or unused object numbers, then the protocol also lists those object numbers.

Activities

If you want to delete unused object numbers in a mass process, you should execute this report as job outside of the normal business hours, because it sets exclusive locks for all applications that use FM object numbers.
