RFFMCE_CPYCOVERGR - Copy Cover Groups

Purpose

This program copies existing source cover groups to new target cover groups. You can use the program for both manual , revenue and automatic cover groups.

Integration

Prerequisites

Cover groups must exist.

Features

The program copies existing cover groups from one year to the next, or from one AVC ledger, budget category, or budget category for RIB ledger to another.

Selection

You execute the program for an FM area. Select the source and target data as follows:

• Source cover group selection:

• Manual cover groups

• Select options for budget category

• Automatic cover groups

• Select options for AVC ledger

• Revenue cover groups

• Select options for budget category for RIB ledger

• Restriction on cover groups:

• Select options for cover groups

• Restriction on FM account assignment elements:

• Select options for FM account assignment elements

Target data

• Budget category (for manual cover groups)

• Budget category for RIB ledger (for revenue cover group)

• AVC ledger ( for automatic cover groups)

For manual cover groups, if you select more than one source budget category, then the target budget category is not ready for input. The target cover group automatically derives the budget category for the corresponding source cover group. If you select only one source budget category, the target budget category can be different from the source budget category. The same logic applies to the AVC ledger of automatic cover groups.

• Fiscal year
  The target fiscal year must be later than the source fiscal year.

• Target cover group number
  If you are copying from a source cover group number, the target cover group number will be copied, the target cover group number should exist in the external number range. You can change the target cover group number by implementing BAdI: Enhance Cover Groups/Cover Rules.
  If you select the generation of internal cover group numbers, the target cover group number is generated automatically from the internal number range for the target cover group.
  You can also change the short text of the target cover group using the BAdI.

Standard Variants

Output

The output list contains the cover groups with the assigned budget addresses and their roles and cover group category. You can also display an error log if there were errors during the copying of cover groups.
