RFFMHIE_CHANGE - Process Multi-Level Budget Structure

Purpose

With this program you can process a structure for budget addresses in the Budget Control System (BCS).

Integration

Prerequisites

You have generated a structure for a hierarchy ID, FM area, fiscal year, budget category and budget structure using transaction FMHIE_GENERATION or transaction FMHIE_COPY.

Features

When you run this program, you can process a structure or a part of it for a hierarchy ID, FM area, fiscal year, budget category and budget structure.

You can do the following using this program:

• Move a node within the structure using the drag and drop technique

• Add a node to a selected node on the same level

• Add a list of nodes to a selected node on the same level

• Add a subtree of nodes to a selected node on the same level (the root node of the subtree will be on the same level as the selected node)

• Add a node to a selected node as subnode

• Add a list of nodes to a selected node as subnodes

• Add a subtree of nodes to a selected node as subnodes (the root node of the subtree will be a subnode of the selected node)

• Delete a subtree starting from the selected node

• Set a node as top node

Note
When you add a subtree from master data group, each non-leaf subgroup in the specified group must correspond to exactly one single master data element. The relationships among subgroups in the specified group form structure relationships for the master data in the different subgroups.

Different parts of the structure for the same hierarchy ID can be processed by different users at the same time if they do not overlap.

During the processing of a structure, the selected structure (up to the top nodes) is blocked for all other users. When a new node is being added, this node is also blocked for all other users.

Selection

• Enter the FM area and a multi-level budget structure.

• Enter the fiscal year, the budget category and, if necessary, the hierarchy ID.

• Restriction on hierarchy: you can restrict the selection by entering theaccess objects to the hierarchy with a list and the number of steps below the access objects. Additionally, if layout variant is specified, it will be applied when displaying the hierarchy.
  Note
  If two or more selected branches (combination of an accessed object and the number of steps) are on the same branch of the structure, the entire branch of the structure containing all the selected branches without gaps is selected for processing.

Standard Variants

Output

The selection is displayed in a SAP List Viewer tree structure. You can:

• Expand the structure below the selected node

• Collapse the structure below the selected node

• Find a node

• Print a structure

• Select a layout

• Delete a subtree

• Set a node as top node

• Add a new node manually on the same level

• Add a list of nodes on the same level

• Add a subtree of nodes on the same level (the root node of the subtree will be on the same level as the selected node)

• Add a new node manually as a subnode

• Add a list of nodes as subnodes

• Add a subtree of nodes as subnodes (the root node of the subtree will be a subnode of the selected node)

Note that following checks are carried out by moving or adding new nodes:

• The node must exist only once in the selected structure.

• The node must exist only once in the complete structure for the given structure ID.

• The following "inheritable" attributes must be the same within the structure for the commitment items:

• Commitment item category

• Financial transaction

• You cannot move/add a commitment item with the attribute Not directly postable below a commitment item with the attribute Directly postable.

• You cannot move/add a commitment item with the attribute Non statistical below a commitment item with the attribute Statistical.

Choose Save button to save the structure.
