RFFMRB_CONVERT_RIB_TABLES - Convert RIB Master Data (FM)

Purpose

This report performs a data conversion for master data of Revenues Increasing the Budget (RIB) .

This mandatory data conversion is normally performed in the XPRA phase during system upgrade.

The FMRBBOBJECTS and FMRBBRECS table entries are converted using the following logic:

If you use the Year of Cash Effectivity for your budget categories, the field CEFFYEAR is filled with the lowest possible value of the year of cash effectivity. This value is equal to the fiscal year (FISCYEAR) or to the fiscal year plus one, depending on the value of the NB_YEAR_NEXT flag in table FMBUDCAT.

Additionally, those FMBASIDX table entries are included in the data conversion, which are required as RIB Index for RIB rules:

If you created RIB rules for the not-relevant grant (= dummy grant defined in the IMG activity Set Grant as Not Relevant for Grants Management), the fields S_GRANT_NBR and R_GRANT_NBR are filled with this grant value.

If you use the year of cash effectivity, the fields S_CEFFYEAR and R_CEFFYEAR are filled with the lowest possible values, exactly as during the data conversion of tables FMRBBOBJECTS and FMRBBRECS.

You execute the data conversion for all clients or for a specific client.

You test the data conversion to determine the number of data records to be converted and to estimate the time needed for the data conversion.

The protocol lists all converted system clients. The number of inserted and deleted table entries are noted for each client.
