Purpose

This program displays the change history of RIB rules, including the following:

  • Contributing revenue FM account assignments
  • Receiving expenditure FM account assignments

Prerequisites

  • You have activated the change log for RIB rules for a specific fiscal year.
  • You have created/deleted/modified RIB rules using some of the following transactions:
  • FMRBRULE ,,RIB rule single maintenance

  • FMRBCPY,,Mass copy of RIB rules

  • FMRBDEL,,Mass deletion of RIB rules

  • FMRBGENMD ,,Mass generation of RIB rules

  • FMRBIDXREC,,Reconstruction of index assigning revenue budget addresses to RIB objects

Features

When you run the program, all changes that have been made to RIB rules are displayed according to the specified selection criteria.

Selection

Enter an FM area, a fiscal year, and a budget category for RIB (RIB ledger). If only one budget category is activated for the corresponding FM area, the RIB ledger is derived from the activated budget category and is available in display mode only. If applicable, you can also restrict the selection to a particular year of cash effectivity.

  • Restriction on FM account assignments
You can restrict the selection of the change history records to be displayed by selecting the FM account assignments of the RIB objects or RIB source addresses of revenue cover groups and cover group names if cover eligibility is activated.
  • Restriction on user logs
You can further restrict the selection of change history records to be displayed by selecting the users responsible for the changes and dates of the changes.
  • Layout option
Select the layout to be used for the output list.

Standard Variants

Output

The output list contains all change records for RIB rules according to the selection criteria. In every line, the following information is displayed:

  • Change document number
  • RIB object / RIB source address
  • Revenue cover group name (if cover eligibility is activated)
  • FM account assignment values
  • Change type
  • Date
  • Time
  • Assigned revenue/expenditure budget addresses
  • User responsible for the change
  • Transaction code in which a change was made
  • Name of the table in which the change was made
  • Fields changed, with old and new values.

Note

  • By default, the RIB object / RIB source address is displayed as the concatenated string of its FM account assignment values. However, you can display separate columns for each FM account assignment element by setting the layout of the output list under the menu Settings -> Layout.
  • When the change records for the index assigning revenue budget addresses to RIB objects are displayed, the value of the grant for both the RIB object and budget address is displayed as '*.
