Purpose

You use this report to prepare an XML file that contains the annual financial statements of your company.

The content and level of detail in the annual financial statement file differ for different company types and company sizes, as defined by law. This report generates the annual financial statement file in structured format as required by law for the following company types:

  • Small limited liability company (in Austria called Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, GmbH)
  • Medium or large GmbH
  • Stock corporation (in Austria called Aktiengesellschft, AG)
  • Banks, insurance companies, foreign companies, and companies preparing consolidated financial statements

Note: This report allows you to create the financial statements file in a structured format only.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have created a financial statement version (FSV) as established by the Austrian authorities.

Features

Selection

On the selection screen you enter the following data :

  • Information about your company, the reporting period and the signatories
  • A financial statement version (FSV) for the creation of the balance sheet and the income statement
If you want to create an income statement with the cost of sales accounting method, enter an FSV that uses functional areas. If your FSV is based on an alternative chart of accounts, select the Alternative Account Number checkbox.
  • Depreciation area
If you have assets in your company, you must create an asset history sheet as part of the financial statements. So that the report can generate the asset history sheet, you must enter the depreciation area to be used.
  • File path to store the file in your PC.

Output

The report creates the following output:

  1. The app displays an ALV list which shows part of the content included in the annual financial statement file (balance sheet and profit and loss statement).
  2. When you go back, the app displays the name of the XML file that has been generated.
