RFINS_CFIN_MDG_MAPPING_TEST - Central Finance: Test of MDG-Based Mapping

Purpose

You use this program to check how the value of a specific mapping entity would be mapped in the Central Finance system. If the business mapping you enter is not possible, the system displays error messages. You run this program in the Central Finance system.

Integration

Prerequisites

Central Finance is activated in the current system.

For more information, see Activate Business Function in Configuration (transaction SPRO) under Financial Accounting -> Central Finance -> General Settings.

Features

Selection

You can enter a source system and choose a mapping entity, such as Cost Center ID or General Ledger Account Master ID. After that the context field or the context fields for the respective mapping entity is displayed. For example, for Cost Center ID (mapping entity) the Controlling Area (context field) is displayed, or for the General Ledger Account Master ID (mapping entity) the Chart of Accounts (context field 1) and Company Code (context field 2) are displayed. You can enter a value for the context field or values for the context fields, as well.

Standard Variants

Output

• The program either returns a success message if what you entered can be mapped in the Central Finance system and the configuration, for example the mapping action allows this.

• Or it returns an error message if what you entered cannot be mapped in the Central Finance system and the configuration, such as the mapping action requires a mapping.
