RFINTITDEL - Deletion of Interest Information

Purpose

Program for deleting old data from the interest rate tables INTITHE, INTITIT, INTITFX, and INTITPF. In these interest rate tables, the interest rate programs RFINTITAR and RFINTITAP document the results of their calculations.

Note the following:

• INTITIT and INTITFX contain the detailed information with which interest runs can be printed. This data is only deleted when the item for which interest has been calculated has been cleared and interested has been calculated in full.

• INTITPF contains the data for the interest letter. Data in this table is only deleted when all associated data records have been deleted from INTITIT and INTITFX.

• INTITHE contains the information on up to when interest has been calculated for an item. This data will only be deleted when this item has been archived and deleted from the system (table BSAD or BSAK).

It is no longer possible to print the interest letters from the interest data after this data has been deleted.

Interest can be calculated twice for an item only if you first calculate interest for the item, then archive and delete the item, delete the interest data, and then load the item back into the system from the archive and calculate interest once again.
