Purpose

This program is for rating consumption items.

Activities

1. Limit the selection of the unrated consumption items using the parameters in the Master Data and Time Control group boxes.
   If you do not limit the selection, the program processes all open unrated consumption items for which the Date Scheduled has been reached.

In expert mode, you can rate items even if their scheduled date has not yet been reached.

1. Run the program.
   
   

The program sends all selected consumption items to SAP Convergent Charging for rating. Rating creates billable items.

If the program is not able to process a consumption item successfully, for instance because information needed by the price plan is missing, the item is considered the next time the program is run.

SAP Convergent Invoicing moves successfully rated items to a different database table and they receive the status Consumption Item - Rated.

A message log provides information on the success of rating.
