If you have maintained search fields for matchcodes (vendors) in your test system, you have to transport these to the productive system. However, the changes/adjustments are not executed in the master records. Therefore, run this report after the transport. It fills the search field that, according to Customizing, you want to use in the matchcode IDs in the vendor master record.
