RFM_ST_SC_CLEANUP_TABLES - Cleanup of expired records in Stock Correction staging tables

Purpose

This report is used to delete the staging tables of adjust stock that have not been processed since a definable number of days (based on the customization setting). The data that will be deleted are is not subject to archiving.

The technical job belongs to a scope dependent job definition SAP_RFM_ST_SC_CLEANUP_TABLES, this job definition with scope state ON should be maintained in table STJR_JOBD_SCOPE.

Integration

You should run this report as a batch on a weekly basis.

Prerequisites

You use the Fiori app Adjust Stock.

Execution time will be managed based on the customization view CUS_SC_SCH_V.

You can use RFM_ST_SC_CLEANUP_TABLES report to delete the records created within a specified time period.

Report can be executed using SM36, SM37 manually, or by automatic background job scheduling using transaction SJOBREPO.

Steps to customize the time period for deletion of records for On-Premise (Optional)

1. Execute SJOBREPO transaction
2. Search SAP_RFM_ST_SC_CLEANUP_TABLES using Find button
3. (Optional) Select SAP_RFM_ST_SC_CLEANUP_TABLES and select Customize icon. Set the appropriate time period in Customized Time Based Recurrence Settings according to your requirements.

Features

This report is used to delete the staging tables of adjust stock that have not been processed since a definable number of days. The staging table entries for these records will be deleted. The status tables contain, for example, information about which quantities have been entered for a adjust stock app. Based on the posting date the record will be deleted (based on the customization setting).

You should delete staging table entries only for documents that you have finished processing with the app.

Selection

The system will search for all the records in the staging table that have been processed with the Fiori app Adjust Stock since the given number of days (based on the customization setting).

Check the log to see the error status using transaction SLG1. In case of error, the selected records cannot be deleted.

Example

You processed a stock adjustment with the Fiori app Adjust Stock three weeks ago. If you enter 1 Week and execute the report staging table entries will be deleted based on the customization setting.
