Features
Selection
Choose one of the following options:
- With Customizing
- Select existing PIVB catalog from drop-down list. The catalogs have to be maintained in table PIVB_CATALOG (via TA SM30). After you have selected the desired catalog, press Enter to ensure relevant object is taken into account and correct layout is offered.
- Without Customizing
- Enter any existing Database Table or View. Press Enter to confirm that entry and to trigger existence check on the given object.
Use F4 input help for field Layout to display available stored layouts and available columns. You can switch between list of layouts and list of available columns by using button Choose Layout/Select Columns.
When using free selection of columns (i.e. not using any of stored layouts), 'Ad-hoc' layout is created. 'Ad-hoc' layout will not be saved automatically.
Output
The selected DB object will be read and displayed according to chosen layout within PIVB user interface. Layout can be saved for future reuse by standard PIVB means.

Use F4 input help for field Layout and select all available fields. Confirm the selection.
