RFREMI50BPROLE - Customizing: Migrate Roles for Each Application (Not in RFREMI50!)

Purpose

The program copies to the current client the view assigned in standard Customizing for all roles that can be assigned as standard in the RE context.

The program assigns the views of standard Customizing for the automatically generated entries in the role table TB003 after an upgrade from Release 47x200 to ERP 2004. For more information, see the release note Role Concept of SAP Business Partner.

Selection

In the source client field, enter the client from which you want to copy. First run the program in simulation mode. This shows which views are assigned to which roles in the current client and in the source client, and highlights the different views.

When you are ready to copy these views, start the program again and do not set the simulation mode indicator. Customizing (table TB003) is changed based on the views in the source client. If you want to transport this changed Customizing, use the transport function in the standard maintenance view Define BP Roles.
