RFSEPA03 - Switch Off Open Item Management by Changing Master Record

Description

This program turns off the open item (OI) management function for a G/L account and changes the documents posted to this account so that they are no longer managed on an open item basis. It changes only those items that are not yet cleared.

Requirements

Some G/L accounts have to be kept on an open item basis, particularly accounts used in automatic account determination (for example, for posting procedures SKU, WVW, SGA and so on).

Caution: Before running this program, make sure the G/L account does not have to be kept on an open item basis for technical purposes.
When in doubt, contact your SAP consultant.

The account must be blocked for posting since any documents posted during the program run might not be entered when simultaneously converting documents and postings to this account.

Output

If you select "List log", the program lists each document it changes. It also shows how many documents and BSIS entries it changes.
