Purpose
The IATA codes for meal preferences have changed as per June 1, 2009.
The following meals have been added:
| VJML | Vegetarian Jain Meal | |
| VOML | Vegetarian Oriental Meal |
The following meals have been dropped:
| HFML | High Fiber Meal | |
| LPML | Low Protein Meal | |
| ORML | Oriental Meal | |
| PRML | Low Purine Meal |

| IATA Meal code 1 - 4 | You can specify up to 4 meal codes that will become obsolete on the validity date. | |
| Invalid From | You enter the date on which the meal codes become invalid. | |
| Delete in IT 471? | If you select this indicator, the system deletes the invalid meal codes in infotype 471 of the user. | |
| Send e-mail? | If you select this indicator, the system sends an e-mail to the users, informing them that the system has deleted an invalid meal code (if you selected the Delete? indicator) or that the users should delete or change the invalid meal codes themselves. | |
| List all? | If you select this indicator, the system lists all users whose infotype 471 contains invalid meal codes. |
Standard Variants
Variant SAP&IATA2009 includes the changes as per June 1, 2009.
