Purpose

This Correction ABAP is only used to correct the settings of the PSA ledger 4P, 4Q, 4R and 4S. This is necesary as PSA Rollup is checking specific settings of JVA and PSA ledgers. It is necessary to have the same currency types settings for ledger 4A and 4P, as well as for ledger 4Cand 4Q. If those settings are not identical then Rollup will send an error message and aborts.

In addition this ABAP can be used to block/unblock the Rollup for ledger 4Q. So even if ledger 4C is used in JVA, but 4Q and 4S are not required for PSA - ledger 4Q can be blocked for Rollup.

Block Rollup for 4Q - In this case there should be no assignments of company code to ledger 4Q and 4S. If yes this assignments have to be deleted - see also note 841051. It is also necessary to change sets 5J3-PSC-RLDNR-4C and 5J3-PSC-RLDNR-4A-4C has to be changed (ledger 4C should be deleted from both sets) - see also note 841051.

Unblock Rollup for 4Q only makes sense if ledger 4Q and 4S are assigned for the company codes desired and the sets are maintained with ledger 4C.

COPY JVA LEDGER SETTINGS TO PSA_LEDGERS

Parameter Copy 4A to 4P and 4R - if this flag is marked, then the settings from 4A (JVA ledger) will be copied to ledger 4P and 4R - which should alswys be treated as group of ledgers (given PSA is installed).

Parameter Copy 4C to 4Qand 4S - if this flag is marked, then the settings from 4C (JVA ledger) will be copied to ledger 4Q and 4S - which should alswys be treated as group of ledgers (given PSA is installed). This makes only sense if ledger 4C is correctly set up for JVA.

Parameter Transaction Curr. transfer - if this flag is marked then the transaction currency key and amounts are transferred via Rollup to ledger 4P/Q - only if this is defined for ledger 4A/C in JVA! This is not really necessary, as PSA does not deal with transaction currencies - it only increases the number of records stored in 4P/Q. The recommendation is not to transfer transaction currency. This does not influence ledger 4R/S, as the PSA calcualtion populates ledger 4R/S in a different way (Currencies and quantiities are taken from the PSA master data).

Parameter Debit/Credit Indicator transfer - if this flag is marked then the Debit/Credit indicator is populated - only if this is defined for ledger 4A/C in JVA! This is not necessary, as JVA as well as PSA are always balancing both records and only the balance is taken into the calculation. It increased thge number of records stored in 4P/Q ad 4R and 4S. The recommendation is not to use the Debit/Credit Indicator.

Quantity ffor 4P/Q transfer - if this flag is marked then the unit of measure and quantities are transferred via Rollup to ledger 4P/Q - only if this is defined for ledger 4A/C in JVA! This is not really necessary, as PSA does not deal with transaction currencies in the rollup ledger- it only increases the number of records stored in 4P/Q. This does not influence ledger 4R/S, as the PSA calcualtion populates ledger 4R/S in a different way (Currencies and quantiities are taken from the PSA master data).

BLOCK/UNBLOCK LEDGER 4Q FOR ROLLUP

If ledger 4C, Q and S are not used then it is necessary to block Rollup for ledger 4Q, as otherwise Rollup would send an error message.

The unblock option is just here to reverse an incorrect setting.

UPDATE

Table T881 is only updated if the Update mode is marked.
