RGUDEL00 - Delete Transaction Data from Ledgers
BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header data CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES - Frontend ServicesThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Description
Program RGUDEL00 enables you to prepare the FI-SL system for going into production. Using the program, you can delete test data (transaction data) from the system.
You can delete at different levels:
- Deleting all FI-SL transaction data and initializing all number ranges: First, the installation
of FI-SL (T800A) is checked. The tables found are stored temporarily and their contents are deleted
sequentially. Any assigned single item tables ( + index tables) and planned single item tables are also
reset. Afterwards, the number ranges for the objects 'GL_GLOBAL', 'GL_LOCAL' and 'GL_ROLLUP' are initialized.
Caution: Table 'GLT2' is treated differently because it also serves as a data medium for the FI-LC component (consolidation). A dialog box will ask you whether you also want to delete the contents of this table.
- Deleting an FI-SL table: This function enables you to delete an FI-SL table to be specified. If available, the contents of the assigned single item table (+ index table) and planned single item table are also deleted.
- Selective deletion: If you select this function, you have to enter a ledger. You can also enter additional selection criteria in the form of fixed FI-SL fields. You can also select which data (summary data, single items, plan single items) is to be deleted.
In all three cases, you can obtain a list containing deletion statistics by selecting the relevant option.
Note: You can also call up the program from the function module 'G_DELETE_TEST_DATA' . A company code and a fiscal year are obligatory entries for this function module. It enables you to delete all transaction data from FI-SL for a specific company code. You call up the function module within the FI reset programs.
