Description

In Training and Event Management, you can store a budget for organizational units. Budget data is stored in the FM-TR table BPJA. Release 4.0 contains HR Budget Management functionality, which is based on the infotype model. The data in table BPJA must be hierarchically structured like the infotype structure. This structure is created by the conversion report.

The system reads table BPJA for the client in question. Entries that contain the Training and Event Management budget indicator are converted to the relevant budget infotypes.

A budget is created per plan version, budget period and currency. The organizational units concerned are related with the relevant budget objects via the relationship 'finances'.

Budget objects are created according to the organizational unit hierarchy.

Entries that are missing in the Customizing tables are automatically created.

The budget type group '03' 'Training and Event Management' and budget type '0001' are used for the conversion.

The following settings are made:

The validity period and currency are entered in T7MP2 for budget type group. A currency indicator is appended to budget type 0001, which is flagged as 'budgetable' in T7PM3. The name of the budget type is 'BUDGET' in T7PM8. The financial year and validity period is entered in T7PM9 for the budget type group.

Incorrect budgets are not converted. Errors are recorded in the log file.

Error messages cause the program to terminate and are recorded in the log file.

Converted data is deleted from BPJA.

Requirements

Budgets to be converted must be maintained correctly.

Output

Training and Event Management budget entries are deleted from table BPJA and created as HR budget objects.
