Purpose

This report enables you to display change documents created when changes were made to Personnel Planning infotypes. The selection options allow you to search for specific documents.

Integration

Prerequisites

The creation of change documents has been activated for the values selected on the selection screen.

Features

On the selection screen, the report offers four basic selection options, of which you can freely combine the values, and three output options.

Selection

  • Under Data Source, you can choose whether you want to display documents from the database or archived documents.
Note
You can find more information about archiving change documents by starting transaction SARA in the SAP system using the object name CHANGEDOCU and choosing Help -> Application Help from the menu.
  • Under Object, you can display change documents by selecting one or more of the following entries:
  • Plan version

  • Object type

  • Object ID (can also be found using a search term)

You can enter an object type (such as S) or a specific object (such as a particular position) to display the existing change documents, for example.
  • Under Infotype, you can display change documents by selecting one or more of the following entries:
  • Infotype

  • Subtype

  • Plan status

If under Infotype, you choose a language-dependent infotype (1000, 1002, and so on), you can also select a language key for the object.
If under Infotype, you choose Relationships (1001), you can also select according to the object type or the ID of the related object.
The Plan Status relates to the status of the infotypes/subtypes for which change documents are to be displayed.
  • Under Change Data, you can display change documents by selecting one or more of the following entries:
  • User

  • Start Date

  • Clock Time (Start)

  • End Date

  • Clock Time (End)

The system proposes the current date as the start and end date.
  • Under Output, you can determine how the selected data is displayed according to the following options:
  • Technical View

  • Summarized View

  • Display Field Contents

The output option Technical View determines that the change document data is displayed in the manner in which it is stored in the database.
The output option Summarized View determines that change document data for which several documents exist (for example, as a result of renaming an object or delimiting an infotype) is displayed as one document.
The output option Display Field Contents determines that each infotype field that has been changed is displayed in a separate line (name, date, time, field label, old value, new value). If this option is not selected, only one line per change is displayed (name, date, time).

Standard Variants

Output

Depending on the options selected on the selection screen under Output and the chosen layout on the output screen, the output screen of the report can contain the following data (columns), for example:

Object Type, Object ID, and Name (of changed object) , Infotype, Subtype, Start Date and End Date (of validity period of the object or infotype/subtype), Name (last changed by), Date (of change), Clock Time (of change), Change ID (for type of change U, I, E, D), flag Summarized View, which displays whether it is a summarized document (only if the Summarized View output option is selected), Field Label Long, Old Value, New Value (of changed field; the last three columns are only displayed if the Display Field Contents output option is selected.
