RHECM_ARCH_WRITE - Destroy: Write Program for Compensation Review Data

Purpose

You use this report to write business complete information (employee specific), created during the process of Enterprise Compensation Management (ECM), to the archive store. Business complete information refers to completed compensation review process data.

To start the destruction process, you must run this report to write the information to the archive store so that it can be destroyed later.

Integration

Running this report will not complete the process of data destruction as it only writes the database table entries to the archive store. Therefore, to complete the data destruction process, the RHECM_ARCH_DELETE delete report must be run as a follow up activity.

In the Customizing settings of transaction AOBJ, if the Not Scheduled radio button is selected in the Delete Jobsscreen area, the write and delete reports must be run separately.

If the Start Automaticallyradio button is selected in the Delete Jobsscreen area, the delete report is run automatically after the write report is run.

Prerequisites

The following are the prerequisites for this report:

• This report checks for all necessary authorizations, therefore, you must have the authorization object S_ARCHIVE added to your profile.

• You must have the authorization to read infotype 0759, structural authorization for the organizational unit, and read authorizations for the employee budgets.

• The SAP NetWeaver Information Lifecycle Management solution must be switched on as the report is run in an Information Lifecycle Management enabled setup for the HRECM_REV archiving object.

Features

This report checks the business completeness of the compensation reviews using the process support table entries. It writes a subset of the data, specific to employees, into the archive store.

The report does not write any changes to the database tables.

Selection

There are no mandatory selection screen parameters for this report. However, if an entry is made for a specific personnel number, then an entry must be made for the Compensation Review field. The Personnel Number field is used to limit the selection of employee data for a compensation review.

Standard Variants

Output

This report displays the number of objects and number of archived personnel number entries for each review. It also writes all error and success mesasges to the spool log.

Activities

This report can only be run in test mode from transaction SE38. You can also create variants from this transaction. However, you can run this report in production mode from the archive management transaction SARA. This ensures that entries are made in the archive management tables (such as ADMI_VARIA).
