Description

This report enables you to carry out the changeover of Training and Event Management's infotype 1036 (Costs) in the database table T77KB. This changeover is required by the introduction of the single currency in the European Monetary Union (EMU).

In the parameter Changeover currencies you enter the currencies that are to be converted to the Euro. In the parameter Changeover date you specify the date as of which the new currency should be entered.

You use the parameters Rounding divisor and Rounding type to specify exactly how the new amount is to be rounded off. You can run the report in test mode to see an example of a real run using the rounding specifications you make.

The parameter Test run allows you to run a simulated changeover. No database update occurs during a test run. The report displays a log with details of the records that would be changed in a real run.

We distinguish between two different types of data record:

  1. Records whose validity date lies after the changeover date.
    In this case, only the relevant currency amounts are converted. The records are saved with the new currency amounts. These records are only changed.
  2. Records where the changeover date lies within the validity period of the data record.
    The old data record is delimited. A new data record is created for the period of the record that lies after the changeover date. Amounts are converted accordingly.

All other data records remain unchanged.

Requirements

You should not start a real run of this report during normal productive operation. Execute the changeover at another time.

Output

Note

  1. Start the report in test mode initially to display the data records that will be changed in a real run.
  2. Conversion of the amounts is carried out using exchange rate type 'M'.
  3. The changeover date is taken as the exchange rate day.
  4. You must carry out the changeover for each client separately. All plan versions within a client are changed over at the same time however.
