RHHAPDOC_ARCH_DEL - Destroy: Delete Program for Appraisal Documents (HRHAP_DOC)

Purpose

You can use this program to delete appraisal documents that were written to an archive file from the database. The program is used as a delete program for the archiving object HR: Appraisal Documents (HRHAP_DOC). The program reads an archiving session for this archiving object and deletes all of the data saved to the database for this object.

You need this program to meet data privacy requirements for destroying data. For more information, see SAP Library for SAP ERP Central Component and choose Human Resources -> Data Privacy (HR).

Integration

You use archiving object maintenance (transaction AOBJ) to control the programs for the archiving object. Do not change these entries. You have the write program RHHAPDOC_ARCH_WRI available for the archiving object HRHAP_DOC.

The control parameters for running the delete program are defined in archiving-object-specific Customizing in archive administration (transaction SARA):

The option Start Automatically for delete jobs means that the delete program is started automatically as a background job as soon as the previous write phase of the write program is completed.

Prerequisites

A correct archiving session must have taken place for the destruction of data.

Features

The program deletes only data that the write program RHHAPDOC_ARCH_WRI has written to an archive file. The data is deleted from the database and from the archive file.

Selection

The parameters have the following meanings:

• Test Mode

The deletion of data is simulated for test purposes. No data is deleted from the database.

• Productive Mode

The data is deleted from the database

• Detailed Log

The system generates a detailed log. Only use this option to perform an error analysis in test mode. Since the log is very detailed, you must not generate it in live mode.

Output

The program issues a list of tables from which data was deleted. The number of entries per table and any error messages are also issued.

The destruction log contains the plan version, the object type, the object ID, the template ID, the archiving object, the date until which archiving was performed, the most recent date of change, and the name of the user (table HRHAP_ARC_GRST). For more information about the destruction log, see SAP Library for SAP ERP Central Component and choose Human Resources -> Data Privacy (HR) -> Destruction Log.

Activities

To archive appraisal documents in productive mode, you need to start the report from archive administration (transaction SARA). You can start the program from transaction SE38 to create variants or to simulate the data destruction of appraisal documents (test mode).
