RHIQMPSTADM_M - Admission and Registration Maintenance

Purpose

You use this report to manage student admission, registration, and module booking data.

You can reject or withdraw admission of a student to a particular program of study (SC) for a specific year and session. You can also deregister a student from a program of study and cancel a module booking.

Integration

Prerequisites

• You have defined a default admission cancellation reason in Customizing for Student Lifecycle Management by choosing Processes in Student Lifecycle Management -> Admission, Registration, and De-registration -> Admission -> Define Admission Cancellation Reason.

• You have mapped your university's organizational structure and academic structure in Customizing for Student Lifecycle Management under Master Data in Student Lifecycle Management -> Academic Structure.

Features

Selection

You can use a selection method or enter the data manually.

• Program Data

You must select a program of study (SC) and an academic year and a session for which you want to run the report

• Select Process

• Cancel/ Reject Admission

You can cancel admission of the students selected using a selection method with created/approved admission record for the SC for given year and session. You cannot cancel admission for the SC if a student is already registered for that program. You need to deregister the student (either using this report or manually) to cancel the admission.

• Deregistrationor Cancel Registration

You can cancel registration of students who were registered for the year and session selected under Program Data.

• Cancel Module Booking

You can cancel module booking to the modules (SM) that are associated with this program of study SC and for which an explicit module booking has been made. This option is only enabled when the Deregistrationoption is selected. You cannot use this report to cancel module booking.

• Deregistration Data

You can deregister a student and specify a deregistration activity and reason. If a student is registered for the selected program of study and the selected year and session, the system deletes the study segment for the program.

• Program Control

You can run the report in test mode and view the results in the log before you cancel any admissions.

Standard Variants

Output

When you run this report, the system searches for valid admission, registration, and module booking records based on your selection criteria and changes the status of the records or deletes the records with appropriate reasons.

You can view the results in the log and display error messages.

Activities

To run this report, use transaction PIQMPSTADM_M.
