RHIQMP_GRADE_CONVERT - Convert Incomplete Grade to Failed Grades

Purpose
Using this program, you convert the grades of selected students from Incomplete to Failed.
If the students have not completed the required academic work, the appraisers assign an 'Incomplete' grade. The students are notified that they must complete the work before a deadline (last date), otherwise their grade will be changed to 'Failed'.
Integration
The program is integrated with the schedule manager.
Prerequisites
You have configured the time limit to be used for defining the deadline for completion of works by the students. If the program running date crosses this date, the grades are converted from 'Incomplete' to 'Failed'.
You do this in Customizing for Student Lifecycle Management, by choosing Processes in Student Lifecycle Management -> Appraisal -> Incomplete Academic Work -> Define Deadline for Completion of Work. Enter the time limit to be used for the deadline for work to be completed by the students.
Features
Selection
- Use the selection method to select the students with incomplete grades because they have not completed the academic work. Selection method APPR is recommended.
- Enter the academic year and session.
- Enter the incomplete grades as 'From' grades. Since most of the incomplete grades are grade symbols, enter them here.
- Enter the failed grades as 'To' grades. Enter the grade scale in which you wish to store the failed grade.
- Enter the appraisal types for which you wish to convert the grades.
Standard Variants
Output
The incomplete grades for each student are converted to failed grades if the system date has exceeded the deadline for completion or the individual appraisal deadline. The system displays log messages for the user.
