Purpose

You can use this program to automate the process of creating rule containers and assigning them to the following academic objects:

  • Internal Qualification (CQ)
  • Organizational Unit (O)
  • Program of Study (SC)
  • Module Group (CG)

As a result, manual creation and assignment of rule containers to objects is no longer necessary.

Note: Use this program to create rule containers for audits only; not for general purposes.

Selection

Object Selection

Enter the following mandatory data:

  • Object Type
  • Object ID
  • Evaluation Path: selects the objects to which the rule container is assigned.
The Object Name: visible once you have entered all the mandatory data.

Enter the following optional data:

  • Module Group Category: If you enter a module group category, the rule containers are only assigned to those objects that are part of that module group.

Rule Container-Related Data

  • Enter an audit type. For certain audit types, a Parameter field is displayed. This field is mandatory.
  • Enter the process part. The process part Completion of Process is selected by default.
  • Enter the requirement catalog and version you want to assign to the rule container.

Validity Dates

  • To use the start and end dates of the selected object as the corresponding dates for the rule container, select Implicit Validity Dates.
  • To specify your own start and end dates for the rule container, select Explicit Validity Dates, and enter your chosen dates in the fields below.

Requirement Elements to Objects

You can assign the requirement elements to the rule container, according to the selected object.

Standard Variants

Output

The system creates and assigns new rule containers for objects that do not already have one.

Activities

To access this program, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Student Lifecycle Management -> Academic Structure (Curriculum) -> Requirement Catalogs -> Generate Audit Rule Containers.

You may also use the transaction PIQRCGENERATE.
